😖A Painful Scenario
Just imagine you get an afternoon craving🤤
(Midnight cravings are interesting, but afternoon cravings are terrible😔!)
You start🏁 hunting for snacks... But find nothing.
- No chips🍟
- No biscuits🍪
- No sweets🍮
- Not even a single chocolate🍫
It’s just you and your hunger, circling the whole house 🏡. But you find nothing to end those terrible 😔 cravings.
How do you feel now? Gosh…
Sounds familiar❓ Here's what I do when that terrible afternoon craving hits.
Here’s What I Might Start Eating❔ (Yes, I Actually Do This)
#️⃣ Snacks why/How I eat it
1. Roasted Rice 🍚
For me, roasted rice is a lovable snack 🥨.
Just roast raw rice over medium flame🔥, and it’s ready👌.
Once, I added sugar syrup and made a roasted-rice bar. It was really tasty😋
Crunchy? Yes. Healthy? No. Worth it? Maybe.
2. Health-Mix Powder
We sometimes have health-mix powder at home 🏠.
Add a little water and eat it thick🥄—it satisfies hunger and is healthy too.
3. Lemon Juice🥤
Lemon🍋+ water💦+ sugar = instant refreshment😊.
We almost always have lemons; if not, I buy one from the neighbour—he always has some.
“Easy peasy, lemon squeezy❕”
4. Sugar—Just Sugar
Yes❗, a spoonful 🥄 of Sugar
A tiny sprinkle quickly becomes a full spoon.
Sweet craving solved.
Note: 10/10 dentists 🦷 would not recommend.
5. Roasted Split Gram🌾
My evergreen💚nostalgic snack.
Small story📖 ( I'm your Storyteller right❓): When I was young [ still I'm young😅 ] I’d sneak handfuls while Mum cooked. She’d scold, "That’s for the curry🍛❕"
But our first priority is food 😉
I grab and ran🏃♀️ out.What a pure nostalgia💭
Groundnuts 🥜or green gram work too.
6. Horlicks / Boost / Complan (Dry)🥛
Rare in our house 🏡, but if it’s there, I eat it straight from the jar🫙.
Who needs milk🥛 when you can dry-scoop❓
7. Pickle 🥒
I could eat Grandma’s 👵 handmade lemon🍋 pickle forever.
Even without cravings, I eat it and drool. I’ll pair it with anything—even weird combos😜.
8. Coconut🥥
We have a coconut tree🌴, so there’s usually one around.
Step 1: Find a coconut🥥
Step 2: Crack it open
Step 3: Shred or slice the flesh
Step 4: Feel proud😊—eat.
9. Nuts
Nuts is the brilliant choice 💡
Cashews and raisins live in our pantry.
Just a handful won’t defeat giant hunger, but they're classy 🌟while they last.
10. Vegetables & Fruit🍓
When nothing’s left, raid the fridge: carrots🥕, cucumbers🥒—once even an amla.
Maybe it's your time,you’ll find treasure; then you’re the king👑, the boss❕
My Thoughts 💬
These are the things I eat when cravings hit.
I’m not recommending all of them daily🗓️—just sharing ideas💡 for emergency afternoons.
Hunger does wild things to your brain🧠. You start inventing snacks and combining weird combos.
Maybe use a few of these to beat🥊 your hunger.
